We must dig deeper Georgie...

Yes in fact Bexhill is indeed 'inland' when this map starts in 1850, do I have to do all the research myself :)

You are welcome please enjoy, then engineer Bexhill to meet the sea when you make your fortune. Hint: bulldozer :)

But to be serious, try the Dorking map. Make a fortune and then re-engineer it which is what I'm doing currently in 1972 and £400m

Yes there's a Custom mode and you can load many mods into saved games. The load order control is in there. The effect of the order is to tell you which mod stops the game loading. Disable all mods, add one mod, run the game, repeat

Order of loading??? Is it possible to change that and what effect does it have on loading the MODS?
Bresslaw  [author] 23 May, 2018 @ 3:27am
Hi rb, the only mods I use are more and higher vegetation; nicer smoke; curved stations. I haven't yet got into train mods but looking at UK stuff and GrandT's lovely detailing on youtube

Ooh maybe it's the order of loading mods that matters in your game. Try enabling mods one at a time perhaps until something breaks?

I did try to play the Rye map but the game wont allow me to load it... As a matter of fact... it is kicking me out of the game completely...( a bit of a pain after all the picking of MODS) I guess it is one of the MODS i am using...

Up top is a group of screenshots rb. One of them is the overlay I used to place the towns. The underlay :) is Google Maps or Google Earth - the overlaying image is from the heightmap. Line em up and away we go, remembering that it's 1850 so towns are quite small. That helps with the scale thing

Would it be possible to make a map in realistic scale? Is there a limit to the size of the map you can use for this game?
