Description
Naval warfare with realistic water physics

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Ships are only found in the playlist mode, please enter it to get the full experience!

Description
Thorvaldsson's Rift is a cluster of islands, which is divided between the two empires Ipsilon and Valfross. Because of the withered king who betrayed the peace agreement with Ipsilon, war is raging. The largest island, as well as the fortress island belongs to the Empire of Valfross. The smaller island belongs to Ipsilon. As a player, you will be provided with ships that will allow you to sail across the sea freely, and of course you can fight! To play this map you don't need a beastly computer. With an objectcount of only 545, it is really potato proof.

Objective
Destroy the enemy boats 10 times to rule the seven seas

About the water
A few months ago, another besiegers among us, BirdyDragon and Rexe, came to me to realize a map around their very interesting discovery. This discovery included a cheap way into creating accurate water physics. Together with BirdyDragon we have build a truly unique setting around it.
The boats really "follow the waves" and wiggle up and down, just like real boats.
If you are interested in making boats, and like to finally build boats on water physics, I encourage you to do so! I have build now 4 ships with it, and it is rather easy (3 in this map, and 1 you will see soon :P). I will add a simple boatbuilding guide in the discussions tab on this page soon, for now you can try to investigate the boats in this map. When uploading your self build vessel, just add this (or other future water maps) to the required items. otherwise your subscribers will not really have a use of the machine. Happy to hear your thoughts about it and any questions are welcome!

In multiplayer (I dont quite know anymore whether this also works in leveleditor), press the server server looking icon, press playlist, and then apply.

ok it seems that if you set the tornado to reset ITSELF it doesnt work, but for some reason it works when you have a different object resetting it...:csgogun::crossout:

I'm glad I finally got around to trying this one! It's a really good map with islands in a sea.

change the visual setting to 'snow' instead of 'normal', something like that. you can change the setting by using the wrench and pressing the grasspatch

Also, my water is green when I use the grass patches that you guys use. How do you get that nice blue water?

Thx for responding so quickly! <3

That happens.. for some reason, I simply fixed it by adding a flying block to the end of the ship. set it to automatic, and in the left or right direction. with that you automatically counter that rotation!
