Description
*Information Before Playing*

-This map of often glitchy with picking up things off of dead bodies, so do expect to lose some things if you drop something. Also the inventory gets glitchy on ledges, or anything elevated off of the ground.

-This scenario is played up to five players, but can be played with less.

-This scenario will have both survival and militaristic components

-Respawns can be unlocked at any slightly urbanized areas on the map. At most mission areas if a player get close enough, then they can unlock a near spawn due to the difficulty of missions. Not all the respawn will be unlocked right away, you must first complete the area before you can respawn there. For unknown marked areas, you must get close to the limited arsenal to unlock the area. For german/bandit occupied areas, you must eliminate all hostiles in the base/camp for the respawn to unlock. For mission areas, you must complete the mission.

-The arsenals scattered all around the map are strictly for saving and loading your loadout, and nothing more. They will be next to or near any respawn point. If you're wondering where one might be, just keep looking it'll be there.

-Food and water in this scenario is still active, and is still a big concern. Make sure you scavenge each area to ensure your survival.

-All AI friendlies on the map are invincible, so don’t worry about killing any of them. Your teammates though aren’t invincible, so don’t shoot them or the friendly AI will shoot you.

-This scenario is a long one, so be ready for a long play session if you are going to be playing with friends.

-Sleep houses are used for skipping the night if you don’t want a spooky environment, or you just can’t see. Only one player has to enter the sleeping house for the time to skip exactly 11 hours.

-Mission Areas are a huge part of the scenario. There are multiple areas on the map with a blue circle or square, these are mission areas. The red, green, and yellow markered areas are just optional places where you can get another respawn. You don't need a task to go to those places.They are places where the tasks will eventually take the player, and if the player goes there two soon; it could break the scenario all together. Only go to those places when a task is shown to have popped up there, or you will be risking breaking the scenario.

*Backstory*
Time - Early 1945

Place - German/Zombie Occupied Namalsk

Situation - It’s early 1945 and Berlin is close to falling. There is an island located in the middle of the Black Sea. The island is called “Namalsk” and it hosted an important radar station called “подзорная труба (podzornaya truba)” or “Spyglass”. In early 1942 communication with the island ceased. The Soviet Union could not investigate at the time because all of it’s attention was focused on Stalingrad. Nazi and Wehrmacht forces had taken over the island and conducted bioweapons research on the island. As a result of the development waste products were leaked into the island’s water supply and was consumed by the civilian populace and Russian prisoners. Extreme necrosis and loss of cognitive functions resulted in a deadly outbreak which overpowered the Germans. When you arrive you are shot down by a surviving Sd.Kfz. 251. You all bail out and the plane crashes on the other side of the island with all your comrades main weapons.

Player Story - All of the players are apart of the Soviet Union shock army. Most of the playable characters are new recruits with the lowest amount of equipment possible that the Red Army wanted to equip their soldiers. Most just have a simple ammo belt, very torn up fatigues, no food, and no water. They have been tasked to check on Namalsk due to the lack of communication coming from island.

Backstory of the Island - Namalsk was first colonized from an Italian company in 1892 for the various metals and ores that were on the island. All of the workers lived in the city, and worked in the mountains for their entire income. After 40 years of the island being mined completely dry of metals and ores, making the island useless to the Italian companie occupying the island.The Soviet Union captured the island during the early parts of WW2 for the resources the island had on it(oil, natural gases, and etc). The Germans decided that the island was of strategic importance in the Black Sea, so they took over the island without the Soviets even releasing what was going on before it was too late.

Backstory of Outbreak - The outbreak was caused by an accidental release of a new biological weapon the Germans were developing as a last ditch effort to drive of the Allies. The contagious super weapon was released into the local water supply, causing anybody who drank the tap water to become infected. Once the weapon spread to the city, there was no hope for the island. The city quickly became infected, not allowing the Germans to suppress the illness. The Germans made a huge mistake by sending most of their forces to the city to keep the civilians in check. This decision ultimately cost the Germans 50% of their army on the island.

What Happened to the Soviets on the Island - All of the surviving soviet soldiers were either executed for spatial reasons, or were sent to the prison camps on the island. The German soldiers released the prisoners once the biological weapon took over the city to have the zombies drawn over to the prisoners. The Germans were hoping that they would be able to escape while the prisoners would be slaughtered, but the Germans underestimated the amount of zombies there were at that point. Both the Germans trying to escape and the Prisoners(except some lucky few) were all killed. One plane however was able to take off with a handful of Germans. Unknown to everybody on the plane, the co-pilot was slightly grazed on the leg by a zombie. Since the infection spreads very quickly, the co-pilot turned before they even got off the island. After the newly infected co-pilot bite into the throat of the pilot, the plane soon went down on the shore of the island killing everyone on impact.

Reason Why there are US Weapons on the Island - An US destroyer was sailing close to the island, and was caught in a serious storm. The destroyer went down, and all of the survivors landed on the island. They were instantly taken captive on the beach. All of the US’s equipment was saved by the Germans in case if they run out of ammunition.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I should have fixed the crazy amount of AI so that shouldn't be a problem anymore. Not sure if I can do anything with the fog though, that might just be a Arma defult thing.

oh, the only irritating thing was the fog again. All the maps seem to do that after a while. In the end I was pretty much blind. Not sure if you can do anything about that.

Another good one Warwood. Everythign went fine after the restarts. I didn't do every little area because of the crazy AI spawning near the end. However, I got to the end mission and completed it fine. Good stuff, thanks.
