Disconnection Resilience

Description
Allows your game to survive offline, or without steam connection until a backend call is required.

In the case of a steam maintenance, also allows a group all using this mod to keep playing together.

Does this enable you to play offline, or just enable game to survive (on DC)?

@Zin See comment by FatsharkRobin in the prior page: "We have reviewed this mod for sanctioning and it seems to be at least partly non-functional for Vermintide 2 as it refers to a bunch of Vermintide 1 code that no longer is active in Vermintide 2.

It also does what it does in a insecure not very future proof manner.

The source code for this has been passed on to the backend team and we are looking to do a main game implementation to replicate the positive effects of this mod for a future patch.

it seems the game already has this feature - I happened to disconnect during maps and I could finifh it without being thrown out of the game

What kind of future... same network problems, disconnect and and progress lost like it was at the launch.

This mod causes the game to crash when you load into a level.

It doesn't matter if most players don't know how to exploit it. It only takes one person with the knowledge to do so. Don't be childish.

I am glad that this mod is still not a part of sanctioned mods, it's fun to lose all progress on Legends run, like when you have 2 - 3 loot dies just from opening boxes and then, no steam connection once in a while. Not mentioning the times when you have runs with full grim tome combo went through hell to survive to end because of RNG and bot AI sometimes. I'm glad that the main excuse is "insecure", because most of the players know how to use any data that can be in danger. :cozybethesda:
