SAVTec on mods... again!

NOTE: This mod is currently broken due to the survival update changing how Respawn ships work.
I will fix it soon. Please be patient!

Scope
By request, this is an alternative version of my EMGC Respawn Ships Replacer mod.
This version disables all the vanilla Respawn Ships and adds the 3 EMGC Atmospheric landers in their place - Earth, Mars and Alien. There will be no other ships in the Respawn list - just the landers.

Each ship will spawn at the appropriate planet when playing in the "Star System" map.

Requirements
This mod does not rely on any other content.
You don't even need to be subscribed to any of the EMGC blueprints.
The mod does all the work for you!
Just hit the green "Subscribe" button above and add the mod to the mods list for your world - the new ships will appear in the Respawn menu the next time you respwan. Easy!

Known bug
There is currently a known bug with Parachutes not opening. This bug is with the game, not with this mod. There is nothing I can do to fix it. Hopefully it'll be patched with the next game update.

What you get when you respawn in an EMGC lander
  • All new ships will spawn complete with...
  • A small amount of Uranium in the Reactor
  • A small amount of Ice in the Oxygen Generator
  • Full Oxygen Tanks where applicable
  • 1 Spare Oxygen Bottle and/or 1 Spare Hydrogen Bottle
  • A set of basic hand tools & a rifle
  • A modest amount of rifle ammo divided between the Cargo Container and any turrets the ship may have
  • Fully charged Batteries
  • Small amounts of randomly selected components... or no components
  • Hidden secrets...

Settings & misc
  • All 3 ships are fully fitted & finished, with no missing, damaged or incomplete blocks.
  • Default Cooldown timers are the same as in the vanilla game.
  • The turrets will be turned off by default, with all their targetting options also set to "off"
  • Parachutes are loaded and set to Autodeploy at 3,000 metres
  • The ships are compatible with any & all inventory size settings you choose for your worlds, though I cannot guarantee or predict results where custom inventory size mods are used.

Out of scope
Annoyingly I can't seem to do anything to affect the order in which the ships appear in the Respawn menu, as the game tends to change the order seemingly at random.

It is not possible to remove the "Space Suit" option from the Respawn list. Sorry!

Also, sometimes the menu window may display the full names & other times they may be cut off. This appears to be a display resolution issue present in the base game which may or may not affect you & is outside the scope of this mod to fix.

Mod compatibility
This mod is tested in the vanilla game and alongside Glenn G's EMGC Cargo Ships replacer mod (link above). It is not tested alongside any other mods.
It *should* work with nearly any other mod that does not affect Respawn Ships (and possibly some that do), however no guarantee is given in any event.
If you'd like me to test this mod with another Respawn Ship mod and attempt to make the two compatible, please leave a comment with a link to the mod you'd like me to test and I'll respond when I can.

Warning!
Do not attempt to use this mod in the same game as my original EMGC Respawn Ship Replacer mod. They WILL conflict and I cannot predict the results. Use one OR the other or use them in separate worlds!

Hidden secret things
I have no idea what you're talking about! There are definitely no secret hidden things aboard the Atmospheric Landers... nope, no secrets.

That's in USD I take it? So about £1,500 - £2,500 Sterling to me. That's an insane amount to spend on a computer! Mine was £250 3 or 4 years ago (about $320 to you). You could say it was the high end of mid-range at the time. Now all that's keeping it in the field are the RAM & VRAM.
I'm expecting the next one to cost a bit more - what with the damned crypto-miners hiking the prices on graphics cards! Grrr!

Can't say I'm familiar with the mod you're looking for. The only mods I use are a 450 speed mod, the derelict ship scanner mod and my own Respawn replacers. I don't even run scripts.
Could be that mod was created especially for that server. If the admin took the server down they may also have taken the mod off the workshop.
Have you tried posting on the forums? Maybe someone there will know it.

yeah i think i upgrade next year he built his for about 2500 buying stuff on black friday and cyber monday plus his airforce buddies great with computers and even helped him reprogram his motherboard because it had some defect all in all with monitors (4k) 3200 total but think just computer parts were about 2000..also had question i came across server with mod to programmable block that added menu to interface in control panel that forced you to pick from a list of scripts instead of ur own and they couldnt be changed... have you heard of this desperetly want for server but one i found went down b4 i could ask X/

I have no choice but to do my screenies on high settings - on lower settings they turn out completely white. Gave up trying to figure out why. Even the graphics guys at Keen had no idea!

Your brothers machine sounds like a serious piece of kit. Makes me wish I could afford to upgrade mine! It'd be nice to be able to play KCD at more than 20fps!

oops i meant 1800 lol missed a zero and yeah i so wish i could do better screenshots i have workshop builds and the pictures are just sad lol but my brothers comp runs the server maxed out and he can play it with max settings while surfing the web, playing runescape and watching a movie while streaming to youtube and it turned his fans on lol lol so server runs good when up XD

Yikes! And I thought my connection was bad!
I manage on high settings for screenshots & early game when there's not much in the world but usually have to turn down to medium after I've built a few things or if I'm playing on or near a planet. Still looks great to my eyes, though some of the disatnt LOD models could use a bit of work.

As for the hidey hole, it's just a bit of fun. Not so fun if people don't find it though, so I tried to keep the clues subtle but obvious.
180 hours eh? Just wait til you get an old-timer like me... 2,220 hours & counting! Saw one guy with over 7,000 hours! This game definitely holds people!
