Ever wondered why it takes so long for your ships to get to the Veteran rank?
DID YOU KNOW THERE WAS ANOTHER RANK AFTER VETERAN? Whaat? Ikr.

Ship experience is calculated by the number of days in combat, which meant that to get to the elite rank, you needed 10,000 days of continuous combat. That's 30 years of continuous combat! This simple mod simply greatly reduces the amount of time it takes to rank up your ships.

Experienced Rank: 20 days (of continuouse combat)
Veteran Rank: 100 days (of continuouse combat)
Elite Rank: 360 days (of continuouse combat)

-Why is it so unbalanced?
I am currently in the process of balancing it but I don't know what people feel about the current times



Compatibility:
For those that are often unclear on this issues, there are no known compatability issues (This mod only edits 1 line of code as shown below, and is compatible with 99.9% of all other mods since they do not touch it). Furthermore, this mod should be compatible with all future updates, so don't worry.

@Bokune haven't tried yet but this should be compatible with every version of stellaris until Paradox decides to update the values for ship exp

This 'fix" is perfect for me, who play has a "Peacefull Empire" ^^
I conquer them by taking them has "Tributary" and by friendly action to take them has "Vassal" he he

I don’t like having a popup at gamestart, asking what a mod should do, because it can cause problems in MP games. Some of the players might not pay attention to which mods are and aren’t used, and might not understand that the choice the popup window prompts them to make affects all players. The player might just click at random to make the window go away and so could randomly select an extreme value, hurting the gameplay experience for everyone.
