Description
Now with Osana!
Inspired by Yandere Simulator.

SEIZURE WARNING

Yandere-chan loves your partner, and you're getting in the way! Can you solve the test and escape before she captures you?

This is a confinement-style anime co-op map, where only one partner can be out at a time while the other is trapped in the starting room, and continually switching out is necessary to advance. The puzzle itself is somewhat difficult, but still relatively easy compared to most of the others in the series. So if you're looking for a bigger challenge I'd recommend playing them (in addition to this one, of course, because this one is awesome).

It was very difficult coming up with anime style visuals for this map, both because of source engine and Portal 2's aesthetic style not really being compatible with it. So I ended up settling for a mish-mash of school classroom, funhouse, creepy, garden and horror themes. I think it actually turned out pretty well for a first hammer map; it was great for practice. But my later projects are already turning out to be much more robust.

If you don't have any friends to play with, there is an easy way to play it solo in splitscreen mode:
First subscribe to the map, then start Portal 2 and wait for it to download into your queue, then exit Portal 2.
Second, go to C:/ program files (x86)/ Steam/ steamapps/ common/ Portal 2/ portal2/ maps/ workshop, and the most recent folder should be the most recent map you've subscribed to (hopefully this one). That folder should contain 2 files, one of them a .bsp file, and the other is the map thumbnail. You'll want to copy the .bsp file and paste it into the Portal 2/ portal2/ maps folder, and also rename it to mp_coop_Yandere_Test. After that, start up Portal 2 again. Then type into the console "ss_map mp_coop_Yandere_Test", but without the quotations. This will tell the game it's a co-op map and to make it splitscreen (hence the ss). It should load right up, but there's one more task to take care of first. In order to toggle between players, you must type in the console "sv_cheats 1" and "BindToggle r in_forceuser". This will allow you to toggle between players each time you press the R key. If you want to use a different key, simply type something else after BindToggle. And that's it! You should be good to go.

Well, doing that isn't actually helping me anyway.

This seems unintended, but is it? I don't see any other way to proceed.
