This map is due for an eventual update, to integrate all assets and a few other touches.


Surprise Map! This one was a silent creation, especially due to the general lack of internet for me lately.

Going through some obscure maps in an old collection, I came across a map simply titled "gm_constrution_v15" Upon playing this map, I thought to myself, It's kind of nice, like it has an old. old Gmod 9 era feel to it, but it was a little rough around the edges and a little gloomy so I thought to myself, This map has potential to be prettified, and for a year or so, I wanted to create a "remastered" version of this map that not only makes it pretty, but expands on it with multiple "floors" of different terrain types. and It's finally done! say hello to Steventechno's Constrution! (Dropping the "C" from Constru"C"tion. I unfortunately know the original author of the original map, though I'd imagine may like this.

This map has a few features, such as:

-Fully furnished Spawn room (Originally a base that's been renovated, as you can see in the original area)
-Multiple areas! A large Lake, a GrassLand, Snowland, and Sandland.
-Spawn area underground has seen some serious renovation. You'll have to see yourself!
-The original map (Lightly altered for fixes) is included and is easily accessible simply by running, or driving there through the tunnels at the very top.
-Nodes and Navmesh for NPCs and Nextbot compatibility.
-Cubemaps are rendered well enough.
-Areaportaled areas to help with overall performance on lower end hardware.
-Skypaint skybox
-Full HDR Compile (-final) I should go back to steventechnos_playground and perform this step.

The following Addons are required or else you're going to have issues everywhere as these addons are required since the map uses assetts from these particular addons:

Steventechno's Furniture Pack Extended! (Furniture found in living areas)
Steventechno's House Pack 3 (Textures used in the spawn areas)
Steventechno's Electronics Pack (Props used in the living areas)

(I'd just subscribe all addons just in case I missed something)

Extra infos:
-This map is faster/smoother than my previous map (probably due to the lack of excess water)
-Grass texture I took using my phone and converting it to a texture, it was a last minute addition as it's summertime (as of writing) and grass is blooming.
-I took weeks working on this one. more love was put in this one than my last map(s)
