DBI ~ Allegiant Class Battlecruiser

Description
Designed for Capt Firefoxes Odyssey Project Build CONTEST. It is survival capable but is very limited on functions for Capts series...

The Allegiant class battlecruiser is a small cruiser carrying 5 battle ship class turrets. Its well armored but has minimal defenses.

The turrets are controled by Whip's Turret AI Slaving Script and have a 47 degree vertical firing arc and 230 degrees (115 degree to either side) firing arc.
The top front two turrets are slaved together on Turret Designator 1. The top rear turret is slaved to Turret Designator 3. Bottom forward turret is slaved to Turret Designator 4. and bottom rear turret is slaved to Turret Designator 5. This allows all 4 turrets to prioritize firing at the ship its able to instead of trying to aquire a lock on something outside of its firing arc.
The ship is also equiped with a Rdav's Fleet Command MKII Frigate module for remote fleet operations.

Pro's -
  • Heavy armor construction.
  • 5 Battleship class turrets.
  • 1 medium sized hangar.

Con's -
  • Slow manuverability.
  • Poor Defenses Making it an easy target for Fighters or large fleets.
  • Hangar carries very few fighters for support. (2 RCSP - Predators shown)
  • Relies on support ships for protection.
  • Main turrets have a limited Firing arc.

Specs -
Length - 60 blocks. Width - 17 blocks, 19 blocks including Turret bounding boxes. Height - 17 blocks Mass - 8,878,749 kg Total Block Count - 3496

@thorman123456789 Unfortunetetly Capt Jack also didnt mention that this was designed as a simple set piece for Capt Firefox's series and thus does not contain anything beyond the Hangar and bridge... I have no plans at this current moment to do anything with the front as it is almost entirely filled with thrusters and not worth sacrificing the already limited capabilities of the ship, otherwise the ship is survival ready... Maybe one day in the future...

according to captain jack you cant get to the front of the ship for survival games and i am wondering if you could fix it to make it survival ready? if not thats ok... Thanks for the great ship!

Hey bud! Turret Group 02 has all of the weapons grouped to it instead of just the ones it uses. This causes the turrets to spazz out a little bit XD

Sweet build though :)
