Thank you for the FANTASTIC inspiration this is a scaled up model of that ship.

M3RC-MXCV+ "Explorer" (CV-Class 1, REQUIRES ALPHA 8 or current experimental)
Roll: PVE starter warp drive CV, unlocks at player level 20, inexpensive, utility, medium combat

The M3RC-MXCV+ is an inexpensive exploration CV that is reasonably fuel efficient and set up for long range missions. It is not the fastest but the full combat steel structureprovides a durable deluxe utility/crafting area with most everything you may need for long missions. 360 degree spot lights, weapon mount points.

Features summary:

1. Unlocks at player level 20
2. Medical Station, Cloning Station
3. constructor, 2 fidges, armor Locker, Repair Station, 15 large storage boxes, 2 ammo boxes
4. Oxygen and o2 dispensor
5. weapon mount points in addition to 4 rocket launchers and small spot turrents
6.Reasonably Inexpensive and fuel efficient.
7. Warp Drive
8. Passanger seat

This ship requires Alpha 8 or the current experimental version. It will not be able to spawn in alpha 7*

@JDaremo You stand correct. Some small vessels do fit but only those. Also I had forgot the weapon fitting points infront and on the side that can be populated with drills if one needs to use it as a fast asteroid miner.

Oh, and Myrmi, The original SV can park on top of the CV. There's an access door up there and the original SV is a warp SV.

Nice that you left spots open for weapons. I added Drill lasers to the front ones :D
There is just enough space at the back for the smallest door without removing the blocks that were on either side of the 3x3 Shutter.. Had to move the Motion Sensor back one block, and change a couple blocks on the bottom corners of the Hanger Door.

You gave me the thought to try it and since this is basically a Starter or Scout CV, a small Grinder HV or a small combo Grinder & Driller HV does fit.

I was thinking about asking jrandal to make a CV version of his SV, but seems you got it already.Needs to be more wide and lengthy to get a HV at least in the hangar. Or else it can be designated as a warp shuttle SV.

Nice! Best way to do it. You both get to know the vessel better and can make changes as you go and not have to worry about bugs like the blocks having the wrong armour values.
I do all my upscales the same way.
