Description
No Matter Allowed
While GLaDOS is building a brand new sector of the facility, she informed you that you must get there. The elevator was re-routed to a prototype of a high-tech test chamber involving Matter Inquisition Fields and a new (and high-tech) button. She wants you to make sure the test works

Oh gosh Expat im sorry! I did not realize the P1 Sound Scheme was turned on. Must've done that itself when i redownloaded everything. I'll be sure to fix that for future puzzles!

Pretty simple as I'd already played your one press button demo so had no trouble with the logic. Still hate the P1 sound scheme though. Thanks for creating.

Ah, OK, I understand the button now. I think it would be nice to either include a tutorial room within this map about how the button works, or link to the "entire map on this" in the description for players who haven't seen it before. And fair enough with the half blocks, it was a minor annoyance.

Thanks for the clarification and for your response!

And the Half Blocks is actually referencing the Portal 1 BTS section above the Goo

Hello Nobody No-One! If you are confused about the button. Let me explain. This was a very sudden addition. But its a One Press Button using some Logic items. It allows you to only press the button once. and its output will still be emitted
I have an entire map on this if you wish to understand it better.

I didn't really enjoy this test, unfortunately. In the second area I was very confused by the connections. I thought both buttons needed to be pressed to drop the cube, since there was absolutely no signage connected to the cube dropper. Also, somehow the laser turned on and stayed on even though I didn't have both buttons pressed. I'm not sure how that happened or even if it's supposed to happen, but it could be explained a lot better. In addition, the lighting is often very dark, the first area has pointless half-blocks that just make it easier to fall into the goo, and there's a pointless turret towards the end.
