Genemoddable Cybernetic and Psionic traits

Description
You can add Cybernetic trait via genemodding after you finish the flash is weak special project, also lets you add Psionic trait to any race after picking transendence.

This mod only overwrites Cybernetic and Psionic traits, it sould work with anything that does not touch these two traits.

The traits will only show up in the genemodding menu after meeting the prerequisites.

This mod is only really usefull, if you use some other mod to have acces to multiple ascension paths.

Hey, I absolutely love the mod, but I have a slight request, if possible. Do you think you could do something like this with the Brain Slug trait from Distant Stars? It's a really good trait, if you're lucky to find the event for it, but if you aren't paying attention when gene modding your species, you can permanently remove it, and there's no way to bring it back.

It would be great if completing the event added the trait to your gene mod list, so you can re-apply it, later.

Also, this mod is very much not useless: due to the confluance of mods and ascension perks I was using, i wanted the ability to integrate xeno pops with the Psionics or Cybernetics of my empire without loosing the unique portraits. Assimilation just made them look like my race, so this is in fact perfect for my use case.

Hi, just wanted to say thanks for throwing this together for me. There is so little documentation on the basics of modding and the best way to figure it out is to see what others have done, I was surprised that the implementation is so simple, but now I know. Very much appreciated.

Non taken :) it was a request and is intended to be used alongside my other mod that lets you use multiple ascension paths

Um no offense intended but this mod is utterly useless. In Vanilla you can do the exact same thing Via the Species Rights menu by setting their Rights to Assimilation, it is also much quicker than Genemodding and does not stop Reaserch while doing so. The only way I can see this being useful is if it lets you add Cybernetic/Psionic traits to Species that already have one of the two (Normally mutrally Exclusive) traits, but the are other Mods that do that in a better way.
