(SP/COOP 1-15) "1st Battalion" - RHS:USAF

With the 2015 resurgence of the Taliban in southeastern Afghanistan, their activity and influence increased, as did the number of attacks on Afghan security forces, weakened after the insurgent offensives in 2014 and the partial withdrawal of NATO forces . In response to this, the US Armed Forces deployed the 75th Ranger Regiment to assist Afghan troops in counterinsurgency operations against the Taliban.

The 'Alpha' Company, 1st Battalion, 75th Rangers Regiment has been deployed at the Kinduf-Zhagur air base, to assist the ANA forces in the area, against the increasing flow of insurgents north of the region, estimated by UAVs in a few hundred fighters.

You will take the role of a platoon leader of the 75th Ranger Regiment in a counterinsurgency operation in the valley of the village of Kandar, west of the city of Kala-e-Noowi. It's been confirmed the presence of insurgent forces and a possible weapons and ammunition cargo for militas loyal to the Taliban. The objective is to neutralize any hostile presence in the village and its sorroundings, and secure the supplies to deny their delivery to anti-government forces.
