Portable Light Trailer

Update 3-7-21

It's been a while, hasn't it? I realize that this trailer still doesn't work when separately spawned in. Right now, there are two options: Either merge my trailer with the vehicle you'd like to attach it to within the editor, OR opt-into the experimental/beta version of the game. Please consult the Community guides on how to enable this if you'd like to use my trailer. Note, quite a bit changes between the main release and the experimental version.

If you decide to merge the trailer with a vehicle in the editor, be sure to remove the driver's seat from the trailer before spawning.

In the experimental version, you do not need to remove the driver's seat if you don't want to. (You CAN still spawn it without it, though.) Just make sure that the trailer hitch is near-perfectly lined up with the receiver on the vehicle you are trying to attach it to, then press your activate/attach/actuate button (by default 'E').

This is a functional portable light trailer, like one seen at a construction site.

This trailer can be attached/engaged with an appropriate matching actuator. I suggest extending the outriggers before trying to engage the actuator.

CONTROLS:

W/S for outriggers.
L for driving lights.

OPERATION MODE CONTROLS:
W/S to raise & lower boom tower.
Pg Up/Pg Dm to extend/retract boom tower.
A/D to rotate tower.
Down/Up Arrows to angle the lighthead.

In order to turn on the lights, there is a switch on the side of the trailer. Use E to turn the lights on, and Q to turn them off (while looking at the switch.)
