Another historic craft to add to the exhibitions!

The Redstone Rocket was the first ICBM used by the USK, It used a new hypergolic fuel called liquid Redstone which was being tested as a Zipfuel for new USK super and hypersonic strategic bombers. The fuel was given to the Kerben Aeronautics and Space Administration as a cover up by the MCraft Chemical Reasurch Labs to test it in their new launch which would take the USK's first satilite, Explorer 1.

Performence: It is best to use as little fuel as possible so try to use as little amount of throttle as possible so that your still gaining m/s but conserving fuel. the reason for this is the second stage is using a vacume engine so if you screw it up then she'll just fall back to Kerben

Hi agian, this is my Redstone model. I enjoyed this one, small, sweet, simple, just how I like it I will not be uploading Explorer 1 but the screenshot should be enough to replcate it yourself. Remember this rocket is designed as a suborbital rocket while it is possible to put small satilites in orbit anything bigger than the Explorer 1 model will mean it WILL be a suborbital flight.
