I thank you for giving the original author his credits. Unlike Knightsleeper who straight up asked permission then used the assets immediately anyway. I thought I'd just bring this up while I was investigating stuff though.

It seems Knightsleeper's back, so if you guys wanna help out with reporting again. Be my guest. I'm talking about it in the discord server, linked in the discussions of Take On Mars as a pinned topic. Two of the devs are there too.

Yes... you have a good handle on the situation XBlade.

A shame really... that individual is the model of a misguided fellow player, and we all add value to gameplay...

it's just a simple matter to give credit where credit is due... I have limited coding skills, and I appreciate an author's permission to tweak and modify their creation to surrect my own visions. But if you can't play by the rules, then don't play :-)

Ah so that is why that dodgy little thief Knightsleeper was was making people be steam friends and checking them out before showing them the mod page!! I saw his post about the mod today in the forums and thought it was very shady the way you had to be steam friends and after seeing @Mr. Monochrome's post here it became clear. I am a good judge of fishy business lol i knew something was off with that douche!.

Ahh a timing issue with growing food ... interesting ... I am finding out my Mod works in 1:12 and 1:24 and havnt even got to the point of growing food testing LoL ... was gonna try those tests in the Lander. I recall eating a potatoe off of Mars soil once ... was kinda dry well freeze-dried ! Yes I agree Mods should be kept separate so there is no confusion. Looking at the Mod (1.1 too) ; so will v1.1 here work with 1:12 timing?

It's exactly what happened to Knightsleeper. He began awhile back with his pack which contained most if not all of my mods and addons from my own workshop. He then started taking other peoples mods and addons which is when he got caught. It was only after he got caught that he started asking for permission. He never gave anyone proper credit though in the pack itself anywhere to be seen. He'll also tell you that everything in the pack he made which is complete BS cause you can search the workshop and find everything he ripped off.

I'm aware of the collision issues but I haven't done anything to this but make it compatible with the latest game version. So the collision issue is probably still in there. If you want to use this go right ahead just credit myself for this version and Olrik since he originally made it.

I'm don't know anything about the collision error... my modification 'Botanist - revamp v1.1 | Botanist Arcade' was created from this version (Mr. Monochromes's fixed version) merely to change food values as is very clearly stated... and it is aptly called 'ARCADE' as opposed to 'REALISM' version... when you play a Multiplayer Competitive game 1:24 and only get 3 potato seeds, and they all fail, your game is fückëd. (continued...) As for permission, I didn't have any from Jhomar either, though I do enthusiastically give credit for a mod well done. Moving forward, I believe you should act and do what you think is right, Moonraker... you seem competent and concerned, and I believe your 'separate' formula will work best to keep everything distinct. Mod packages will just get you in trouble, I think... that's what happened to Knightsleeper.... and let's face it... there isn't a lot of activity in TKOM anymore... I want to be part of encouraging that... let me know if there is anything else I can do to help you out.

I have redone this Mod to some extent to be able to use with my Resource Mod; I also asked for permission some time ago to upload this new version; it removes the commode and resource list etc; anything to do with resources was removed except the building of the seeds etc; I need to recheck all this. My question is was this this fix for the collision error? I have yet to even try the hydroponics. I did grow seeds in the Lander once I think. Who wants to live on potatoes ! If I use this Mod, which fixes collision issues (?!) I will have to redo the other changes; not so difficult as I recall; would just need permission to use this redo of his Mod. Thanks ! Also I have permission to have redone his original Mod to work with mine; I do not incorporate Mods they are all separate downloads to insure proper credit !
