For the soundtrack trophy to only be possible to obtain after unlocking the ability to hire employees, and the reward for this i think should be 10k fans. This wouldn't break the pacing of the game, since medium games require 250k you'll still need to produce at least two or three major successes. But it will give the player a nice bonus to income and help push them along to their new objective, and be a significant enough boost that the player would remember it any time they looked at their fan total.
For the new R&D item, "Soundtrack with all our game's music", it could be a continual income source like the GRID research item. Grid provides around 250k, so for the soundtrack I would suggest around 100k at the same rate.
The best soundtrack trophy event is bugged and activates immediately upon loading a game, even a new one where you haven't released any games yet.
The "Known composer" research has a typo and is written as "Know composer".
Continuing this type of mindset would be the best way to give the player genres that they can use that feel impactful. 16bit around the time the SNES comes out, for example.
Finally, I suggest lowering the cost of the Little-known composer to 50 RP, the Known Composer to 100.
Furthermore, try tying the unlock of each to when you get office upgrades. In the first upgrade, the office, you unlock Traditional as a genre, and Little Known Composer, and in the 2nd upgrade, the complex, I'd suggest granting Ambient as a genre, and Known Composer.
Best of luck in your future endeavors! (part 2/2)
In case you are still interested in updating this, i have some suggestions now after all this time.
This mod pack is very useful as a first-engine way to boost your sound's stat, and that's good. Early game the best you get is mono usually, so this pack helps remedy that. However, you have far too many options at the start which makes it feel daunting, and the individual options dont have as much impact.
To remedy this, I think you should focus on delaying when you get each of the genres of music.
My suggestion, so you can brainstorm where other genres could go, is to start the player with student composer and 8bit. (part 1/2)
