Description

The regional center of the CALABARZON region, and also one of the largest cities in Laguna that is located on the slopes of Mount Makiling: Calamba City

Just located south of Santa Maria City, which was featured already in the Improved Philippine Cities series, while also shares border with Tagaytay City that is also featured in the Improved Philippine Cities series as well.

The future main center of the South Sub-regional Growth Center of the Metro Manila Dream Plan, which will focus on more residental development for informal settlers.

Major improvements focused on infrastructure such as Laguna Lakeshore Expressway Dike, and the restoration of PNR services to Los Baños and Batangas, along with more residental development in the city proper.

Third Improved Philippine City not focused on public transport improvement, after Improved Muntinlupa City and Santa Maria City.
