(OBSOLETE) Altana Dive Fighter

Description
Have you ever been on the starter planet and thought "Wow those turrets are being total a**holes" But you don't have access to any weapons or resources to take them out? Well, that's what I made this particular fighter for. It is a dive-fighter designed primarily for assaulting emplacements and turrets with a high degree of effectiveness, despite being only tier-1. In case any are curious, tier-1 just means the basic resources (iron, silicon, copper, and promethium).

I decided when making this fighter that when working with un-hardened steel, speed it better than stopping power, so I designed the Altana to be a sleek, fast, very manuverable and resource friendly fightercraft. There are no lights besides the front ones because I also want this fighter to have low overall visibility, and if stealth is ever implimented, I will convert this into a stealth fighter.

So how exactly can this fighter take out turret positions despite being limited to tier-1 resources? Well, I made a short back and forth between me and the 'personification of hostile gaming elements' to express this properly:
- ME: You know what? So what if I have only gatling guns? I can take out some stupid turret with those!
- GAME: Are you taking the p!ss? What do you plan to do exactly? Strap two of those peashooters to that piece of junk that looks like you just pulled it out of a landfill?
- ME: No. Not two. *opens shutters* How about thirteen of them?
- GAME: ........*looks back and forth rapidly*
- GAME: *sweating sfx*
- COMPUTER: Target locked_
- ME: Tell me one last thing, what does the fox say exactly?
- GAME: *distressed fish noises*
- ME: ....ok sure, why not? *click* *machine guns firing* *BOOM*

So basically, high speed, good manuverability, and thirteen gatling guns means this craft can rip apart a turret implacement in mere seconds. It's a simple concept, but one I rarely see on the workshop, so Imma be a little helpful for once and provide an idea with this. The third screenshot is there to demonstrate the spread from all the guns from the cockpit. Ideally you would want to use fly-by tactics for maximum effectiveness, flying both towards and away from the enemy turrets with unpredictable flight paths AT HIGH SPEED as to avoid incoming fire. I recommend turning around only when you are out of range of the enemy's line of fire. Flying towards the base by diving from high altitude also gives a very high degree of effectiveness, hence the name. Yes the name is spelled correctly.

As for dogfights, well the ship can't take that many hits, and the wings are wide making it a bigger target, but thirteen gatling guns will still rip apart most targets. Still, I don't recommend it for dogfighting. Any opinions on its performance would be nice.

Oh, and remember to hit the red switch :)

OBSOLETE STATUS 6-6-22 - Craft is no longer able to fullfill its purpose, which is to use only basic resources with enough firepower to take down POI turrets quickly. No way around this with CPU rules unfortunately.

No, they're all facing the front. Also, tried that with another design. You have to have a cockpit facing the same direction as the gatling guns or they won't function.

are those guns facing to the rear too? how can those target anything? (you can tell I'm not much of a fighter pilot but it looks nice though)

It does not. A jump drive requires cobalt, do I did not include one.
