Blade Tank Series

Description
UPDATE: RW v1.13 is on the way soon and I can reassure that I'll be updating my mods for it when it releases, as well as hopefully releasing another something I'm working on at the moment. I can't promise it'll be instantaneous as I'm rather busy but I haven't entirely dropped support for either of my mods. There's cool stuff on the way, promise!

A series of light and heavy tanks to complement the default tanks in Rusted Warfare, named after various swords. I did my best to balance them to fit into the vanilla balance for the most part, while kinda expanding the options for late-game higher econ engagements. While not totally overpowered, they're all above the stock Heavy Tank and cost more to boot.

The mod contains three T1 light tanks, four T2 heavy tanks, and a single Experimental superheavy tank. Most of them have more niche or specialized roles but there's a few general purpose units in there too.

TL;DR BEGIN
Light tanks:
Dagger - The "stock" light tank, it's short on hit points but it's cheap, fast, and has a rapid-fire energy weapon for it's main gun, can be deadly in volume.
Estoc - A sniper variant of the Dagger, trades even more HP for a long-range single-target cannon with a long reload.
Kris - A short range assault tank variant, the Kris adds extra armor, a dozer blade, and a fixed shotgun cannon. It's got good damage and moderate health but it's short range hurts.

Heavy Tanks:
Broadsword - Primary heavy tank pattern, has good HP, speed, and a powerful main gun with a small AoE but unlike the vanilla Heavy Tank, it has no AA capability.
Sidesword - Broadsword variant that trades the main gun for a twin turret setup carrying a plasma gun similar to the Dagger's and a nanobeam turret for healing allied units.
Rapier - Broadsword variant mounting quad anti-aircraft cannons. It's fragile, with moderate DPS and high range, and can attack ground targets at half range.
Xiphos - Broadsword variant designed for high damage, trades some armor for twin cannons and a plasma gun turret as well. While it's main guns can't hit air units, it's plasma gun can, giving it limited AA ability in a pinch.

Experimental:
Zweihander - Superheavy tank inspired by the Baneblade from 40k. Extremely slow but has a ton of HP and a wide array of firepower at various ranges. Main gun is a long-range AoE cannon with a long reload. It's got two long-range plasma cannons in the sponsons as well, with slightly shorter range, for dealing with higher armor targets. The coaxial autocannon comes into play as it gets closer still, before finally opening up with three machine gun turrets at short range for it's max DPS. The autocannon and machine guns can hit air units as well.
TL;DR END

This is my first mod, and still has a few work in progress elements. Any balance feedback is greatly appreciated. Please let me know what you think!

Great mod! The units are fun and seem to blend into the game great, even with other modded units I have active. If you're still updating this, my only suggestions (for what they are worth) would be a few things about the super heavy tank. It feels too light often, like light vehicles that path through it will push it around. I believe there's a "weight" stat to units, this thing feels like it should be...super heavy (lol). Aesthetically, adding a detail to the back like the exhausts on a Baneblade and maybe a slightly larger main turret and main cannon would be small tweaks that would go a long way. I love the way it plays though, the different firing arcs as stuff gets closer is really cool. Overall you've done an amazing job, one of my favorite unit mods for sure.

A very nice collection of tanks mod, really love it. My favourite are Rapier, Broadsword, and Zweihander. Dagger is nice for rushing undefended enemy base area.
I hope you would add artilery style tanks on future update if u still working on this mod later (mortar, rocket, missile, napalm, railgun, laser, etc). Tank like Leviathan from Unreal Tournament 2k4 can be inspiration for long range experimental unit.

Favorite rusted warfare mod tbh

Cool but the Zweihander looks like an amazon delivery box. It ought to have a more distinctive shape.

Yeah, it's less than ideal to be sure, but eh. It's better than nothing, at the very least.

Thanks, yes I see it now. What a weird system. No feedback to a user than steam took any action. That's just bad UIX design.

If you're surbscribed it should automatically download the mod - it should show up in your mod list post-restart. If it's not showing up there at all, the only things that come to mind are verifying local content or re-installing. Definitely sounds like it's on Steam's end.

OK I'm stumped. I have subscribed, restarted the game and still do not see a link anywher on this page to download the mod. I'm new to mods but it seems steam makes getting them really more difficult than it should be. Any suggestions?
