Report a translation problem
It was my first attempt though. So take a look at my other waters too. Especially my last water I use in v6 of my terrain packs - it combines these static textures with some movement.
I didn't release it seperately for now, but could do so.
I tried to convert some of my terrains back to the original AoE2, which I didn't finish for the terrains are organized in a different way in the original game, that generates a huge amount of work when trying to convert terrain in each direction.
What I could do, is publish a mod with the default AoE2 HD water, for use with texture packs also containing water you might not want to use.
If it's just the new wave effect, there is a mod available, that simply turns it off:

In case you would like to have a slight modification (perhaps including no wave effect) of the default AoE2 HD water, just tell me what kind of change you would like to see.
I lost my old disc a few years ago, so I'm playing for nostalgia as well as for fun - so I am not too much of a fan of the "HD" stuff. Thanks again.
