Description
Far superior to the previous version. Refined and raw resource blocks are now auto sorted and stored separately while excess are refined sent to the cannons now located on the bottom deck. The fabrication loop has been simplified and shortened. Removed all non-essential lights (most were purely cosmetic and just causing unnecessary lag). Added a better system for feeding fuel to the furnace generator. Reworked the whole collector deck to handle a lot more incoming resources. One of my SH 1 gatherer techs with 6 scotty collectors totally full can pass through at 65mph without slowing down and every chunk will be unloaded, sorted (with refined and unrefined chunks sorted to thier own section of the silo tower) , and the excess sold off without missing a beat! The biggest improvement was the afore-mentioned silo tower. Props go to Falchion for the inspiration. It had never occured to me that the silos were stackable. (I guess i'm still enough of a noob to not know what i can and cant get away with) Anyways, I've worked really hard on this thing and would love to know what you think of it. i Try it. Tell me i sucks. I'm cool with that. :-) *SIDE NOTE:Although the base is well shielded it is unarmed. This is intentional. I have 4 very nasty turrets that I place around it that I feel do a better job of defense than anything I could place on the base itself. Base defenses let enemies get close enough to hit your base before they activate. My turrets make sure they are dead long before that.
