Voice pack will not work just by subscribing.

Please do the following.
1. Unzip the subscribed voice pack file.
2. Overwrite the corresponding survivor's voice file
3. Execute "snd_rebuildaudiocache" at the console


[ How to unpack ]

Use "vpk.exe".

1.Steam → library → toolDownload "Left 4 Dead 2 Authoring Tools"
2. C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Left 4 Dead 2 \ bin
"Vpk.exe" is here
3. Drag and drop the file to "vpk.exe"

Are you or anyone else able to make this mod with just subscribing? I'd greatly appreciate the convenience for me and my friends to not have to do a bunch of things just for one voice, please!

You do know that you can make it so that people don't have to install the voice themselves, right? There are quite a few sound mods that work by just subscribing
