Ever wanna play Space Switzerland? Ever want to store so much food you can feed your population for a hundered years? Tired of food from processed populations going to waste? Want a negligent empire thats never prepeared and starves if anything unexpected happens?

If so, this is the mod for you!

This mod adds several new food storage options to the existing policy:

None - 0 storage capacity
Minimal - 200 storage capacity-----(vanilla)
Balanced - 1000 storage capacity-----(vanilla)
Large - 5000 storage capacity-----(vanilla)
Massive - 25000 storage capacity
Insane - 125000 storage capacity
Ludicrous - 625000 storage capacity

This mod will not be compatable with any mod that changes:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stellaris\common\policies\00_policies.txt

Not Ironman compatable

Try this:
country_modifier = { country_resource_max_energy_add = 5000 }
replace "energy" with what ever and the 5000 to what you want.
Getting ready to test this now......

Not 2.2.* compatable
They changed the "modifier = { max_minerals = 5000 } " to something along the lines of "country_something_something = some_value"
maybe "country_max_minerals" I've tried several variations and can't seem to get it to work

I was originally gonna do that but, I figured it would be better to keep it as close to to how vanilla does it as I could.

Interesting idea. BTW, have you also thought about expanding capacity by just building physical storage on your starbases?

if they can use the policy i think so. Unfortunatly I cannot afford the DLC so I cant test it. If someone was to test it and tell me I would be greatful.
