Description
Adds additional backround art for the corridors of Cove, Warrens, Weald, and Ruins.

Adds 55 new backround "pieces" to the game.

Bumping the variation from the base games total of 35, to total of 90, does not overwrite vanilla-assets. So Safe to install/un-install, just png pictures, no gameplay effects/edits. Just in case I would recommend installing/un-installing this outside of dungeon, where the assets are loaded in the game.

The game creates corridors randomly from this collection (based on location of course), so you will see mix of new and old vanilla art still.

Vanilla base-game assets used/edited to put these together. So most credit goes to the original artist(s).

Customizing:

With manual installation (Nexus), Should be safe to just remove the ones you don't like, just browse to your workshop folder, find this mod, and you can remove, or edit them as you want.

Workshop, things work a bit different, just removing files won't work. If you want some wall to be more common than other, atleast in theory since it is random what the game will pick, just copy that particular picture, and change the number at the end. That way you can replace the ones you don't like with ones you are ok with.

If you modifye these, they are just .png pictures, but you need GIMP, or Super-PNG add-on for PS, to save them in proper format. Otherwise the transparency won't work.

Compatibility:

Most mods will work with this, maybe all. If a mod adds same files, then not compatible. But even then, the game will just load the mods backround picture that is higher in the load order, I assume.

Few times asked, for example this mod from tasty_yogurt is compatible, it adds new "room" art, this one adds new "corridor" art. So they are compatible.

Update for this version from old standalone ones:

I kept this as 4 separate mods so people can pick what they want, didn't really see reason to do all in one package for Steam.

Check collection above for standalone versions.

But it was brought to my attention, that there is limit to workshop mod subscriptions. So if you use all 4, you can just pick this one instead, and unsubscribe from the rest. Less cluttered mod list in-game, and 1 mod instead of 4.

The old standalones have been brought up to date with this one, so you still have the option to choose between separate ones, or just this one.

Changes; went thru all of the backrounds, general changes (examples in pics):

-Contrast and saturation of objects should be unified and tweaked now (not really shown in preview pics, due to darker tone in pics for some reason). Things shouldn't "pop up" (like some used curious/items I used) as much anymore.

-Some curious removed totally, probably biggest complain people had with this, totallt replaced with new art, or reworked/tweaked, just in generall less distracting result I hope.

-General polish for minor annoyances, removed a ton "artifacting/dead pixels", fixed some outline issues, and fixes to multiple "seam" problems when transitioning from one backround to another. Hopefully all those are gone now.

-Some other minor (not worth mentioning) changes.

Ruins:

- Added 3 new walls; wall_21, 22, 23.
- Tweaked wall_19

Warrens (again):

- Tweaked seams for walls_09, 10, 12, 14, 17, 20, 21
- Hopefully everything is fixed now for good, let me know if your eye catches something, mine missed.

Warrens:

-Fixed open seam in wall_20

-Tweaked contrast of the hanging hands, and monument, in backrounds wall_21, and wall_17. Should blend right to the backround now.

Glad you like it. Crimson already has a lot of corridor art, and farmstead doesn't have corridor art. No current plans for it, but who knows, maybe.

Any plans on ever adding in extra backgrounds for the crimson court or farmstead areas?
