Arkon GEC - Greater Empire Control

Description
This mod provides traits for the custom faction wich unlocks teleportation portals, extra star system defence, ships and some traits that allows the player to react more quickly and effectively to threats in his empire.

Due to its structure, this mod should always be functional, even if it is not up to date.


-CUSTOM FACTION TRAITS-
GEC - EXTRA TRAIT POINTS (500 Points)
points for selecting other traits

GEC - Progress through power
buyout option for production/technologies (like EMPEROR'S WILL) with empire points

GEC - System portal
teleportation portals (like VAULTERS)

GEC - some Command points
+4 command points

GEC - some more Command points

GEC - Perfect propaganda
more political influence in your empire (system empire points)

4 small Sophons (Kilo-, Deka-class) and Hisshos (Claw- and Hover-class) hulls with advanced neutronium core (more health and all slots unlocked)

GEC - Fire bug
Vodyani small support ship hull (rusty red) with extra health, enhanced main weapon module slot and all other module slots unlocked. This type is ideal for guarding systems in the early stages (pirates era) of a game session.

GEC - Holy fires of purification
Angry over the Cravers who exploit planets without scruples and leave them as sucked out shell?
And tired to see these homunculi still jumping around over the planet's crust after a successful conquest by the player's empire?
Then it's time for the holy flames of purification (similar like Sacrifice Guardians) ...

GEC - Fur balls to the front
Kalgeros convert into manpower. Good if you want to remove them quickly and useful from the planets.

GEC - Fanatics to the front
Vodyani convert into manpower. Good if you want to get rid of the insane fanatics.

GEC - Planetary recultivation
The Empire gains the ability to repair the damage to the planet's resources caused by the Cravers.

GEC - Juggernaut
A heavy behemoth hull with all slots unlocked and reinforced structure.

GEC - Star System Shield
A star system improvement to protect your empire against the deadly Obliterators.

GEC - Enhanced System Defence
Improved star system defence.

GEC - Umbral Choir RECON
The Umbral Choir small attacker hull in the role of an exploration ship with enhanced module slots.

GEC - Rail Gun
The ANG rail gun derivative.

An advanced root creator ship with self defence capabilities.
In addition, an improved root module is unlocked.

NOTE
The VAULTERS affinity and GEC - System portal,
as well as UE affinity and GEC - Progress through power are mutually exclusive.

Also are the Holy fires of purification only visible and available when the star system is populated with Cravers (to get rid of).
Fur Balls To The Front is only applicable with Kalgeros.
Fanatics To The Front is only applicable with useless and annoying Vodyani which the player has captured by conquest or curiosities.

The Hisshos ships will lack the texture without DLC2.
Without the DLC3, the GEC - Umbral Choir RECON ship model may be without textures, so to speak a white shadow.
Unlike the regular Behemoth, the number of GEC Juggernaut ships is not limited.
In order not to influence the number of selectable traits, the GEC traits are not counted when creating your own new custom faction.

Without DLC3 the hacking traits will be not functional.

HINT
A good challenge is posed by sessions played against factions designed with this mod.
6 or even 10 extra CPs for the AI can lead to massive epic space battles ...

@ton10p: Keep in mind that you have to select the "armageddon hull" (not the normal ark) in the shipyard menu when you create your ark carrier ships. Doing so you can build massive fleets of "ark carrier" ships and flooding the enemies realms. The only limitation thereby is the fleet size maximum and the amount of dust ...

the mod that i thought caused my gec ark to add to my ark tallies, is not the cause, so i have no idea why its doing that

@ton10p: Nope, the ark carrier ships (armageddon hull) are NOT counted as Vodyani motherships (arks). So the only limitation is your fleet size (command points) maximum which you can greatly expand with the "GEC-Command points" traits. And you can combine the GEC mod with the UNION and the IGNs mod. The UNION mod gives you the traits for the "heavy meson blaster" and "devils claws", while the IGNs mod the trait "IGNS - ADV Hack". Even on endless difficulty your enemys where only small wimps against your empire ... ;)

also add a system upgrade for any of your system that boosts hacking capacity (for your firewalls and other defensive aspects which unless your blocking choke points into your empires systems with a lot of defensive programs. which i view as inefficient but yea (id suggest each upgrade has enough for a defensive programs hacking capacity cost (if only one make it give slightly more capacity then the most taxing program, but if you make it multiple make each system upgrade be based on a infrastructure for said defensive program (so you could have multiple infrastructures for your systems programming capacity.)

also i suggest some gec modules for the trade economy (trade subsidies with a boost more then 25%) along with the tech already unlocked
