Description
Another WWI Classic rebuild!

Amazing to see this machine reach the first place in the Workshop! Could not do it without you!

likely the most iconic tank models of WW1, the British Mark tanks returns on the Besiege battlefields!
About the Mark tanks
Easily distinguisable by their parallelogram shaped tracks and turrets on both sides of the tank. this tank was developed as a new, never seen before method of breaking the WW1 stalemate. The shape was ment to easily cross trenches and if possible, climb out of them too. thanks to its side turrets it could fire into the passing trench for optimal firepower. Sadly, same as all other WW1 tanks, they were prone to breaking and got stuck in the mud easily. their effectiveness became so low in such a short time Germany postponed their own Tank projects as the soldiers could easily handle them. It was not untill the Battle of Cambrai that the Mark tanks finally were put in their most effective terrain: open, unflooded, flat terrain. in addition to the idea of transporting the tanks as close to the frontline before activating them (so less chance of failure while moving to the frontline) made them more and more effective! In the end, the Mark tanks were a true icon of its time.
Improvements over the previous model
- Drastically reduced collision between the tracks and armor
- added unsprung suspension
- smooth and realistic appearance with the Tank armor skin
- Armor around the guns, which have much more power (5 compared to 1.8)
- front and back MG
- tracks are overall more durable
- lost 111 blocks (from 777 to 666)
- nice gun periscopes
- smoke exhaust
- while still the same real Mark shape and feeling!

@pomada, I've had this discussion with the older Mark V model as wel. From my point of view, this tank can be seen as any mark upto V (because VI was noticably different). simply because the exterior of all those models are very alike (if we compare only Male models of course). not to forget the differences in the models itself between factories and production batch. The real differences in the mark chain is the engine, transmission and if im correct the armor thickness. The Mark I's armor was for instance not thick enough to stop a german S.m.K. bullet (also known as K-Bullet)

@Titan, That tank is infact build from an Mark V or VI replica with a rotational turret slammed on it. so good notice!
