Description
Nordia is a formable nation that can be formed by any Scandinavian country once they reach admin level 10 as an alternative to Scandinavia that is available significantly sooner. It has the same province requirements as the normal Scandinavia, but also adds the main three cultures Nordic cultures (that is Swedish, Danish, and Norwegian) as accepted cultures if they aren't already, so it allows you to save your points on these cultures.

The new flag and build of this nation looks very Swedish, but it can still be formed by any nation. Realistically, Denmark and Sweden are the only possible options for forming it unless the player just wants to do a spiteful Norwegian run (Godspeed if so). It also uses Arch-King as a title for its king like the Kalmar Union and is uniquely labeled as an "Arch-Kingdom." Again, you don't have to be Sweden to form it as Denmark, Norway, or even Finland could potentially so long as they have Nordic culture and determination. :)

Now added is an option to form Nordia diplomatically as either Denmark or Sweden. You must have the other nation (either Denmark or Sweden) in a personal union or as a vassal with max legitimacy. It isn't fair that if Denmark manages to preserve the Kalmar Union that they have to spend all those diplo points on integration when England can just press a button and inherit Scotland (or when Castile or Aragon forms Spain), so this is basically the Nordic equivalent of that decision.

If you form this nation, it will disable forming Scandinavia, and visa versa.

Once the nation is formed, you will have a decision available if you posses Elfsborg/Göteborg, on the west coast of Sweden, to move your capital there. If you do, you will get ten development.

In order to enact the government changing decision, please make sure you have Common Sense and Res Publica or your game may crash.

TAG = NDA (if using with other nations mods, make sure the tags don't conflict or they won't be compatible)

The Language for the provinces is now set to Norwegian, as the Norwegian language is alphabetically similar to Danish and mutually intelligable with Swedish, and so as a unified country with a unified language, Norwegian makes the most sense even if they aren't the dominant partner in the Arch-Kingdom.

I removed the custom Nordic government (because let's be honest: being an absolutist monarch is much cooler and more historically Scandinavian than all this parliamentary and democratic nonsense) and so this mod no longer requires any DLC to run. Should be compatable with most non-province changing mods.

Updated for 1.28 (Spain).

Changelog:
- Changed the name for "Nordica" to "Nordia"
- Tag changed from "NDC" to "NDA"
- Changed Göteborg to Gusburg as it is much easier to say and more directly related to Gustav Adolf. Also I know burg is German and not Swedish, but as Sweden currently recognizes, Gothenburg is also easier to say than Göteborg, and Gustav Adolf was very involved in Germany so it would make sense.
- Added dynamic province names that combine Danish and Swedish cultural names. Where they overlap, I let the Danish take priority because a unified Nordic language would probably include their unique letters to the alphabet.
- Fixed the localisation for the decisions and added more comsetic changes, such as the nation being an "Arch-Kingdom" and if you elect a Queen her title will be "Arch-Queen." Also added a unique government type that combines a parliament with an elective monarchy. Let me know if this is viable, as I know many people don't like the electoral monarchy expecially for stability loss.
- Lowered the adm level requirement to 10 from 12
- Fixed the estates with the Nordic Monarchy type so nobles are disabled
- Removed colonial provinces from the dynamic province names
- Added decision to form Nordia diplomatically as either Denmark or Sweden
- Changed Gusmark back to Goteborg to be more inclusive of people who want to play as Denmark instead of Sweden, perhaps I should have two options depending on culture
- Removed the name change in the decision as the Danish "slashed o" glitched out the text, if you want to rename the capital from Elfsborg you'll have to do it manually (it will already be Goteborg if you start at a later date)
- Changed some province names to be more in line with Norwegian spelling. Also added Norwegian "New World Province Names" from the mod of the same name, so thanks to that mod for those. Note, if you aren't Norwegian culture the provinces will change when a colonial nation forms. I highly recommend downloading the other mod to have a more immersive language experience.
- Added the default Swedish models
- Created and added a new flag and updated the models to be set to Sweden's
- Due to removing the special government type, there is no longer any DLC required

@DeStinYZoL as far as I know, an awful lot of mods simply aren't working at all with the new update, so I can't really do too much about it until Paradox fixes that

any plans to update the mod for 1.29?

@warmongerPhoenix I changed the models back to default as I kept getting the model bug glitch you described. Should be okay now, but let me now if not.

If anyone knows how to properly mod models in without these conflicts, any advice would be appreciated.

Update: (sorry for the spam) the Musket model is shown (as the default model not swedish)

Side Note on the bug: I own the majority of the Unit Models DLC's and that might be causing the conflict.

*BUG* I just unified the nordic people and became Nordia. The unit models (don't know their correct name) don't appear in the early game. All that appear for the models are their Halberd on the ground.

@St. Brendan the Navigator Just mentioning this, might be a bit late, but bt stands for Beyond Typus, another mod. If you're curious you can search it up!

Significant changes for this mod alongside the Spain update. A bug was not allowing me to update it so sorry if it wasn't working but it should be fine now.
