Description
General information

This mod requires the 15/07/18 version or later of Vox Populi (also known as Community Balance Patch)[forums.civfanatics.com]. If you have not heard of VP or CBP, you can check it out its forum[forums.civfanatics.com] or wiki[civ-5-cbp.wikia.com]

The Empire of Japan


Empire of the Pacific (Unique Ability)

+1 Science and Production from Coastal Buildings. Gain 30 Science, scaling with Era, when acquiring Ocean, Coast, or Lake tiles via any means.

Imperial Shrine (Unique Building) (replaces Circus)


  • +3 Culture, +2 Faith (instead of none).
  • Increases the Military Unit Supply Cap by 1.
  • All military units trained in the City receive the Emperor's Will Promotion (Increased Combat Strength based on unit damage (Tenacity)). Granted to all combat units.
  • 2 slots for Great Works of Art or Artifact. +5 Culture and Golden Age Points if Themed. Fill both slots with Art or Artifact created by you to gain the bonus.
  • Unlocks at Theology instead of Physics.

Yamato (Unique Unit) (replaces Battleship)


  • +20 Combat Strength and +5 Ranged Combat Strength.
  • Type 94 Naval Guns (+25% Combat Strength when attacking, +1 Range).
  • Armor Plating I (+25% Combat Bonus when defending).

Mod is enabled along with VP v4.19.1, I chose the "43 Civ Vox Populi (With EUI)" install option. I can't find "Hideki Tojo - Japan" in the list of Civs to choose from.

Sadly, for me at least this mod isn't working as the civilisation is not showing up in the list when starting a game. Any ideas on how I can fix this or if you could take a look. Thanks

I do not plan to add support for SMAN's World At War, because:

1. That mod itself would probably need a compatibility to be balanced with VP.
2. There is a similar mod [forums.civfanatics.com] for naval units only, that is designed for VP.

Do you think you can make a version of this mod so the UUs reflect SMAN's World At War mod? (Yamato as Heavy Battleship and Kagero as Heavy Destroyer)? Many thanks.
