Description
After losing all of my gear quite a few times due to various bugs, I decided to make this small mod. I was really surprised no one had made one yet!

What it does: On character death it creates a "Loot chest" with all your gear stored in it, at the exact location your character was at upon death. (chests will most likely float a meter above the ground so as to not get stuck below ground)

After looting the chest, it can be removed via the interaction menu. If the chest is not removed it will stay indefinitely.

Works as is, might or might not be updated in the future.

do not use in sp, your stuff in the hotbar will be lost

so this makes sure you stuff stays behind even if you take too long to get to where you died?
AKA, no more fear of body decay?

Last few times I died, I couldn't recover my equipped weapons and armor. :(

Awesome mod. Lost my items a few times due to corpse disappearing bugs.

Only issue I have is it does not work with the DLC items. They show up as Unkown Bags that cannot be equipped.

Any plans to update the mod to work with the DLC items.

@=3RB= Machi, the bug where the chests were spawning for NPC's and all animals, I was playing on a singleplayer coop server.

The issue where NPCs also drop the deathchest should be fixed. Tested in SP, let me know if running it on a dedicated server causes issues.

Love it. Nice workaround for trying to prevent losing items due to the various bugs. Well done.
