Description
Action Group 1 - Toggle Bay Doors
Action Group 2 - Toggle Solar Panels
Action Group 3 - Switch Engines (Uses engines that are in line with center of mass for when external tank is released)

Landing is easiest to do at a high speed as not to stall early. Pitch up right as you approach the ground to kill vertical speed. I also added parachutes if that can be deployed (cargo bay must be open) if landing isn't your thing.

I also made a Space Shuttle Discovery that has a larger external tank.

First of all thank you for offering your creation. As an objective criticism, I must say that your designs of North American spy shuttles have serious flaws. I have 17 attempts to launch both shuttles, alternating automatic control systems and several climbing techniques, but it is impossible to overcome the 5000m altitude.
The most serious thing is that the angular design of the propulsion of the shuttle is not compensated by the center of gravity of the launcher, this causes an extremely slow and dangerous ascent rate of about 10º. Also, assuming that you pass the barrier of 5000, which is the most dangerous stage, when uncoupling the solid fuel engines, the ejector system makes them hit with the wings of the shuttle, causing reentry to be impossible. I don't have any part mods installed, it must need the making history dlc.
