Description
An incredably cheap cannon drone designed to be chucked out in the hundreds if not thousands. Each Pico drone costs only 50c and masses only 5kg, they are small and light enough to be shot out of a cannon or coilgun (coilgun not included). Despite thier demunitive stature each drone can get quite far quite fast with .5 - 1.5gs of acceleration and 5KMS deltaV. The drone's main cannon fires a 1g osmium round at 1.7 KMS every 150 MS. The cannons main and only disadvantage is its low ammo count holding only 200 rounds enough for 30 seconds of firing. What the drone lacks in ammunition it makes up for in numbers, and heavy (for its size) forward anit laser amour, 2.5 cm of graphite areogel, taking up to a minute to burn through. Why have expensive drones when you could have the power of DAKKA on your side.

At a glance
Weapon: 1g Osmium every 150ms at 1.7 KMS
Engine: 0.5 - 1.5 gs acceleration and 5KMs deltaV
Power: 2w
Cost: 50c
Mass: 5kg

@S7ELI7S I agree with your anlysis, the solution I found is to escort them with a few of my rail drones which are only 750c a pop to shoot down the nuke before it hits. Then they have to overwhelm your drones with multiple nukes increasing the logistics cost. Also the drones are only 50c so 20 of them is 1 KC, I have yet to get a 100 KT+ nuke to that price, im not sure it is even possible.

Thank you for the useful tactical/strategic information in the description. the analysis is awesome.

Very efficient for the price.
The anti laser armor forces the use of nukes as a deterrent.

Strategic considerations: The number of these drones required to effectively overwhelm defences and cause significant damage is at such a high number the "simulation" doesnt run well. They are countered effectively with nuclear detonations.

Using these drones will typically force a direct confrontation. 400 drones typically overwhelms defences without a nuke. 1 nuclear missile offsets all drones. 1 effective nuke is typically larger and more expensive than 400 of these drones. Thus the party without these nukes has a motivation to stop these from being launched, foring nuclear strikes on luanch source or even direct confrontation.
