A Non-Nuclear Crisis

Description
After increased economic activity between New Zealand and China, the United States has begun to worry that they are losing influence over New Zealand's government and people. Concerns were realised when New Zealand did not participate in sanctions against China following their sinking of a Phillipine naval vessel that supposedly violated 'Chinese Waters' earlier in 2019. Following this, the United States decided to rekindle it's relationship with New Zealand in a stern and diplomatic way. The US Military began to further support this diplomatic rekindling after New Zealand announced that they would be procuring fighter aircraft to restock their air force, as well as a new Helicopter to replace the SH-2 Sea Sprites currently in service. With a new potential F-35 and MH-60R customer therefore on the table, the United States wanted to prove that their technology was more capable than that of China's, and that it would be foolish for New Zealand to not participate in the those programs. To demonstrate this, the United States, following their regular exercise in the Pacific, decided to send a Carrier Group to New Zealand, as a 'friendly' reminder that they are still the top dog in the Pacific. The Aircraft carrier, the USS George Washington, was equipped with two full squadrons of F-35C aircraft, as well as MH-60Rs, which would be evaluated by New Zealand.
There was only one problem - New Zealand does not allow Nuclear powered ships into its territorial waters. In the past, the United States has had their Carriers escorted by New Zealand frigates away from territorial waters. Given the circumstances, however, the US was not willing to play games. The US President, Donald Trump, stated during a press conference that a US nuclear Submarine would surface in New Zealand waters. This would be to prove that the RNZN was not fully equiped to protect its waters, and therefore, needed the new technology that the US was offering.
"I will show New Zealand that they need these new planes. In a few days time, there will be one of our submarines in some harbour in their waters. It's going to be great."
In response to this rather abrasive and challenging address, the New Zealand Government made a statement:
"Our Nation has the right to refuse entry of any vessel into our territorial waters, especially if we believe it to violate our maritime laws. We will protect this law and our soverign right with any means necessary."
Your mission is to prevent the US submarine from entering your waters, and remove it from waters if it does "by any means necessary."
This is a 3 day ASW scenario of somewhat challenging difficulty. The only playable side is New Zealand.

I could be wrong but I don't think the trigger (SSN Enters New Zealand Territorial Waters) that starts the event that teleports the sub is set up correctly, it looks like the trigger will only go off when the sub enters the area off New Zealand, but it won't ever do that BEFORE the event. Thus it never teleports. Specifically the trigger is set to "Unit Enters Area" with the area defined by rp-480 to rp-483, but the unit isn't going to enter that area so it never goes off. It should probably be a "Random Time" trigger.

I just finished this, and after expending several thousand sonobuoys nothing happened. No US sub showed up, or snuck into one of the ports. I loaded the save game in the editor and the sub is off the Ivory Coast and the mission it is assigned to is inactive, I'm guessing this was supposed to teleport somewhere but didnt, or perhaps this is intended and there is some random chance that it was all a bluff? Does New Zealand buy its sonobuoys from the US by any chance?

Oh, and "chose to engage" at the end should be "choose to engage"

Noticed the side briefing contains a typo, "B. ENEMEY" should be "B. ENEMY"
