TIE/LN Starfighter "Tie Fighter"

The Empire's main starfigter; the Tie Fighter. It's name is based on its Twin Ion Engines (hence T.I.E.). These ships were fast, small, cheap, lightly armed, didn't have hyperdrive, and didn't have shields. They couldn't even survive a direct hit from a turbolaser. They did have two massive solar panels, often mistaken for wings. They also were fast enough to easily out maneuver most gunners. The main advantage of the Tie Fighter was in the fact that the Empire could mass produce them at a much cheaper rate than any other fighter. The result was hundreds to thousands of small, deadly fighters accompaning every Imperial fleet.

This tech is pretty stable, it doesn't pitch very quickly but it rolls/stays in the air very well. The front of the solar panels have wheels that will push it onto its back, making take off much easier. These can be removed by pushing x. I would recommend taking off before it is completely on its back, just let it tip back a little then push shift. It will take off just fine from its back, it just doesn't pitch very quickly so it will be hard to level out. Also... it unfortunately does not fit in any of my Star Destoyer models.
