Description
Beloved legend Jumbo Tsuruta was recruited by Giant Baba for AJPW after an amateur career that included competing at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Greco-Roman wrestling.

Tsuruta debuted in 1973 in the US after training with Dory Funk, Jr., and was cheered by American audiences, extremely rare for Japanese imports, due to his work ethic and ability.

When Tsuruta moved back to Japan, he became one of AJPW's biggest stars. During his career, he became a 3-time Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion in addition to a 3-time NWA International Heavyweight Champion. Tsuruta held multple tag titles alongside the likes of Giant Baba, Genichiro Tenryu, and several others.

I've got a league with 24 legends across 2 brackets running right now myself - always interesting to see how it all shakes out.

Speaking of Tenryu, he's another one I'd love to see get created. Gonna throw all these guys in a league and see who comes out on top. Thanks for your hard work!
