I think you made a beautiful looking map. But you have a few mistakes that you need to look at - and if you do (after watching the video for tip , and I have a tip for you too) .. then your map will be very amazing!
Okay ---- I downloaded your map, and looked at your road ... you do not have an outside connection, so no Cims will enter your map. You need to attach the connection to the outside world in the map editor, and then it will all be good.
I have a link to imgur to show you where the problem is. It just needs those 2 little green arrows you have like in the railway.
