Comrade, ran into problems with this design and Voskhod. What I think has been the problem is I use a mod called MechJeb2. It really doesn't like the R7 at all. So, when I was thinking of restarting from scratch I had to remember the basics because I couldn't use the mod. What I think I have to do is turn off differential throttle and don't use it to orbit insertation. It seems to really muck things up. I have to play chase the AP is what I call it. Head up to 70,000 AP and then when am within a minute of it then I turn back on the engines. It if moves out then I switch them off and wait again until am within 1 minute and start the process all over again. I think this is the only way the R7 can be flown.
