Better Iron

Description
This mod makes iron more common, like it is in real life. Uranium being as common as iron = no sense.

Currently, this makes iron 2.5x as frequent as it is in vanilla.

Thank You for trying to help though.

Not using GS but do have the other one. Sadly the game still wouldn't work even after I removed this mod, and wouldn't tell me why, and frankly it isn't Civilization in my mind. They have destroyed a game I've been playing since 3 and have played every version of, and now I won't be playing anymore. End of an Era sadly.

@Pluck If you're not using DLC, send me a list of which mods you're using and I can see if I can figure anything out. Unfortunately, I don't own any of the expansions, so if you have Gathering Storm in particular (Which changed how strategic resources worked) it'll be difficult for me to test.

For some reason this mod is incompatible for my game setup, but I can't figure out why. Is there some reason that anyone might know of?

Would it be possible if you also could make one for horses and aluminium? Or just make one that makes every strategic resources more common?

They may have changed something. I seem to be getting a better stratigic resource distribution since GS came out.

@Mewr11 Ok I'll try it out.

@Dimas15 It should. I'm pretty (~80%) sure that the updates to how strategic resources function doesn't change how the resources *spawn*, which is the only thing this mod changes. Basically, unless Firaxis did something strange, which I won't put past them, it'll work fine.

Easiest way to check is to just load up a game with it enabled. If it doesn't work, it should complain when the game tries to build the map. If everything loads and you can start the game just fine, then the iron spawn rate will be correctly adjusted.

Does it work with GS?
