Are you amazed by all the fantastic art out there, Starboundy and otherwise? Do you constantly wish you could wallpaper the entirety of your planet with pictures of posing Florans until they get sick of it and chase you off? Well, wait... some more. I still need more pictures of Florans.

What is this anyway?

This mod is aiming to add as much artsy stuff to the game as I can get my hands on. To use it, craft the Painting Station from your inventor's table, load up on red, green and blue dyes {the game doesn't have green flowers, so you'll need to mix those}, canvas and other bits and bobs, and print away. Bigger paintings will require more dyes - in fact, the amount of each dye you need is actually calculated from the image itself - so a mostly-blue picture will require more blue dye and so on.

It was originally going to be a thing for just Starboundy stuff, but I realized there's not much of a reason to exclude anything. It's also still in early-ish stages and I'm trying to decide on how to handle categorization - right now stuff is more or less sorted by size, but I might end up sorting them by theme, like landscapes, people, still life, fandommy stuff {broken into specific fandoms if there's enough}, and so on. If you have any suggestions, let me know in the comments.

Each picture also has colony tags - if you want me to add a specific tag to a specific picture, let me know, it's easily enough added. Each picture is also tagged with the name of its author - using invisible ink, you can search for their respective tags in the crafting station.

Of course, I'm also very interested in any pictures that you want to be added - but there are a few rules;

1} If you want a picture included in the mod, send me the link to the image - comments work best.
2} The link must have a way of contacting the original artist. This bit is super important because I don't want to steal, intentionally or by accident, other people's hard work.
3} If the original artist happens to be you, well, that's pretty much self-explanatory.
4} Also bear in mind that while there's a variety of sizes for the paintings, stuff will need to get shrunk down to fit, often by a lot. Don't get too attached to fine details.
5} When suggesting images, feel free to tell me if there's a particular size you want.
6} Also, if you want an existing image to come in another size, let me know what dimensions you want. It's easy enough to add.
7} While Starbound-themed art is extra welcome, it's not exclusive. Non-vanilla races are likewise welcome, as are works of other fandoms. If it's fan-art, though, please make sure you've read rules #1 and #2.
8} If you want to include your character as a decal, that's all good. Make sure you include a name and a tagline, though.
