@W4YS3R I split the mesh in half, then assigned each half a separate texture so that I could have a non-symmetrical logo on the front. the process is relatively simple - just split the mesh perfectly down the middle, and then separate the two halves. Then remove the existing material from one of the halves, and create a new material with the same name but with _left or _right added to the end. once that's done, create a .vmt with the name of that material, do the same for the texture, and then you can have your un-symmetrical texture. do be aware that unless you also manually flip the UVs, any pattern you put on the non-symmetrical half will have to be mirrored (so on my version of this, the white side of the ONI logo has the text backwards on the texture as a result.

I gotta ask, did you split the Mesh of the chest plate and then loaded a different texture on each "slice of the plate" or did you just decal it?
