After watching the available catalogue of this history podcast, I thought of an interesting idea for a mod. Visiting Five special locations with historic poignance where you'll receive an event with some details about the flashpoint event that happened there.

There are 2 sets of Locations, one for Christians and another for Muslims. When all locations of a set have been visited, the character will receive the Learned Pilgrim modifier which boosts all stats by 1, learning by 2.

To use with A Game of Thrones Mod, you need to use a text editor, like notepad, to add a dependency to The ESA Mod.mod in the mods folder, E.G. ***\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod
