Infinite Cube [Sonic Forces]

Description
UPDATE: The model should have a little glow to it now. Thank you Xabin Otter for figuring that out.

I tried modeling the cube that Infinite uses in Sonic Forces for some of my videos.

The outter cube is translucent, so a lighter background will make red seem to disappear.

I was wondering if you'd ever consider importing blue rings and blue blocks?

If you do import the Blue Blocks, can you make the ring inside the block a body group that can be disabled/hidden?

I figured it out. With the outer layer, under $translucent, add this code in:

"$color" 10 0 0
It should lighten up the model so it looks like it's glowing.

I'll keep working with it to see if I can get it to work.

I upped the light emit as well as couple other settings on the white cube when making this model, but the translucent outside must be negating the glow, similar to what you were saying.

I was thinking the whole thing, but $selfillum doesn't work with textures that are set to translucent, so apply that to the white cube, and fiddle around with some way of brightening up the red cube with something.

Are you talking about the white cube inside or the whole thing? There probably is a way to get it to glow, but so far I haven't been able to figure it out.
