Global Combat Ship (City Class Frigate)

The Global Combat Ship is designed with modularity and flexibility in mind to enhance versatility across the full range of operations, including maritime security, counter piracy, counter terrorist and humanitarian and disaster relief operations. The adaptable design will facilitate through-life support, ensuring upgrades can easily be undertaken as technology develops

The ship was designed for use in conjunction with my CH-53A Sea Stallion & Ch-47 Chinook as pictured in several screenshots along with my NH-90 Sea Lion.

This has been a long build for me with several challenges that I faced, Mainly trying to counter the effect of using wings for most of the ship which meant it was incredibly unstable. However the effect of the beautiful slopes around the ship really gave it a unique appearance. While also trying to maintain a high fps, this resulted in a lot of the ship being unused. However the mission bay can be loaded as desired.

Features:

- Large Flight Deck with Positioning Lights for Landing (Red - Not Centered, Green -Centered).
- Automatic Flight Deck Flood Lights for night operations.
- Large Hanger for storing helicopters. (Can fit 3x NH-90's).
- Side Access Hatch for refueling ( Fuel System will be implemented with Hardcore).
- Detailed top decks with Armament and Radars.
- Large Bridge.
- 2 x Bow OTO Melara 76 mm Guns.
- 1 x Stern CIWS System.
- Auto Pilot System.
- Maintain Speed System.
- Cruise Control System.
- Automatic Stabilization System.
- Collision Warning System.
- Front Anchor.

Instructions:

To Drive:
- Make your way to the bridge.
- Engage all engines & Pumps on the Engine & Pumps Systems Station.
- Head to the Helm to manually control the ship.

To Maintain Speed:
- Head to the Ship Operating Control Systems Station.
- You have two options for maintaining speed on the ship.
- First you can use the cruise control.
- This is activated with the two keys labeled.
- Use both throttles ( One for the left propeller and one for the right)
- Second you can use the maintain desired speed system.
- Make sure the other system is disabled.
- This is activated by the key labeled.
- Input your desired speed.
- Ship will now maintain a specific speed.

To Use Auto Pilot:
- Head to the Navigation Systems station.
- Input your desired Coordinates into the system.
- Activate by turning the key labeled.
- Ship will now pilot itself to your desired location.
- Be aware that you will need need to adjust the course to avoid islands and other ships as there is no anti collision system activated.

To use the Hanger to load several NH-90 Sea Lions:
- Land a NH-90 Sea Lion on the flight deck with the nose landing gear touching the rail on the deck. (Make sure that once you have landed to turn off the engines and fold the tail.
- Open the hanger and make your way to the control panel located on the left as you enter the hanger.
- Push out the correct floor mag.
- Once close to the helicopter activate the mag connector.
- This will connect to the helicopter of which you can then pull in using the control panel.
- Once fully in you can then disconnect the mag on that rail and use either the left or right loading bay mags to store the helicopter.

Bridge Controls Systems:

Navigation Systems Station (Rear left)
Ship Operating Control Station (Front Left)
Anchor & General General Systems Station (Rear Right)
Engine & Pump Systems Station (Front Right)
