A citizen of the arcology-domes of Boreal York, native to the suburb of Manhaven. Brandon Henderson, or 'Bran' (or 'Hendo') to his friends is a librarian and researcher at the Practical Person's Library, home to hundreds of guides and manuals on living well, survival, and health.

His latest subject has him exploring grappling - specifically the ins-and-outs professional wrestling. To get the best experience and research he could, he signed up to the York Performance Dome and started training. After eight months of gruelling study and physical conditioning under the eye of veterans and other wrestlers, "Bran the Man" made his debut to a roaring home crowd. Brandon wasn't writing his observations down any more - he was living them.
