Commands note:
R&D has long been researching ways of how to improve the naval powers of the republic, experiments have come and passed with nothing but statistics of how to improve logistics and resource distribution for the expanding nation and its forces. After a lul of actual ship or tecnological advancements it was decided to do international touring of other nations and their craft to find answers to fix many performance and dated problems of ours (to the dismay of at least several patriotic admirals). It was an interesting invenstigation, from laser planes, massive dreadnauts, non-confidential research test notes, and a few weaponized 'bricks'. A draft of a new heavy gun-cruiser was planned with new knowledge and combat experience from skirmishes that would have a similar cost to its contemporaries but up-armored and up-gunned. The result was the Eon series of cruisers wich was granted the name in belief that this design would remain competitive for a great amount of time. The seiries would include four different models, this one being the intermediate with standard 360mm guns, the others having 225mm AA and 400mm with 3m shells. Development stated proudly that this class should be THE standard and all other mid-tier gun cruisers are to be developed from and compared to them, but they do have two regrets: there was not enough room to fit secondary lasers to the bow and stern or fit offensive missiles without going over-budget.

Personal note:
I have to give my thanks to @BorderWise (https://www.youtube.com/user/BorderWise12) for most of the tips, his content helped greatly in this build and soon my future endeavors. He is more knowledgeable than most so I hope I can use this knowledge for my own nefarious plans.

Keep it up mate, and you reading this too.
