Description
Ted DiBiase was one of the top heels during his time in the WWF, famously stating that everyone had a price for "The Million Dollar Man."

In 1987, DiBiase attempted to buy the WWF Championship from Hulk Hogan, who challenged DiBiase to a match. Hogan won and retained the title, and DiBiase made the same offer to Andre the Giant, who then defeated Hogan for the belt. After Andre sold the championship to DiBiase, the title was vacated and DiBiase's reign never officially existed. The title was set to be awarded to the winner of a tournament culminating at WrestleMania IV. DiBiase advanced to the finals (after Hogan and Andre eliminated each other via double countout), but lost to Randy Savage.

DiBiase often paid for the services of other wrestlers, most notably Virgil, as bodyguards. He teamed with Irwin R. Schyster (IRS) as Money, Inc., for a few years in the early 90's, then formed The Million Dollar Corporation as a stable.

While he never officially held the WWF Championship, he did declare himself the Million Dollar Champion and carried a custom dollar sign title.

DiBiase later joined the nWo in WCW for a short time.

DiBiase was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2010.
