You need to develop the settlement to the last level and open recipes with the help of various monuments, the opening of all the recipes of one faction will require three games. In the first and subsequent games after the full development of the settlement, you will be offered to send three residents on an expedition (with them you can start a new game) and they will save all the open recipes.

and where do you craft the arrow slits, bared widows and masons door.
cant seem to craft them from anywhere. :-P
