Archotech Expanded B19

Description
Expands on the Archotechnologies introduced in B19

Now includes vitamins, minerals, and research/crafting!
Yes you can now craft. In order to do this, you need to unlock the research, which is far off to the right, just before the spaceship stuff. You can then craft a production workbench from the production tab in Architect. After that it's a matter of looking at what stuff you can craft!
I will also be improving on this, you know, making more researches and different crafting benches.

TO EVERYONE GETTING THE NULLCLASS ERROR
Please put Archotech Expanded high in the mod order, above mods like EPOE or RBSE :). This hopefully should fix any errors you get, at least while I try to figure out compatability patches. Thanks to everyone reporting the error, through your comments I've been able to get a stepping stone in the right direction.

About
Up(Down really)dated to B19!
This mod expands on both the technology of the Archotechs, an advanced "race" of machine superintelligences.

If you want JUST the prosthetics from the mod, go here:
Archotech Expanded Prosthetics B19

What does this add specifically?
Adds these new implants into the game:
  • Archotech Ears
  • Archotech Stomach
  • Archotech Liver
  • Archotech Kidneys
  • Archotech Lungs
  • Archotech Heart
  • Advanced Archotech Legs
  • Advanced Archotech Arms
  • Archotech Death Claw
  • Archotech Obliterator
  • Archotech Brain Melder
Also adds these three new materials into the game
  • Nanomachines
  • Picomachines
  • Attomachines

What do the bodyparts do?
  • The Advanced Archotech Legs are a highly advanced version of the already highly advanced archotech legs. They are 4 times more expensive than regular ones, but also give a much higher mobility boost compared to the normal archotech legs.

  • The Advanced Archotech Arms do the same thing as the advanced legs do, but for arms.

  • The Archotech Obliterator is an alternative to the death claw, where it deals fast consecutive blunt hits rather than 1 high powered claw attack. This is especially useful for capturing prisoners.

  • The Archotech Death Claw is a high powered Power claw, basically. For the Archotech. It's much more expensive than any other Archotech item as it serves as an archotech arm and a power claw simultaneosly.

  • The Archotech Brain Melder is a better pain stopper and joy giver. It increases conciousness, removes pain, gives joy and heals scars on the brain. It's incredibly useful for any situation.

What do the materials do?
  • Nanomachines: The nanomachines are the lowest tier of all the new materials, but are considerably stronger than the strongest material currently in the game. It will be used in future recipes along with the other two materials. It can currently be used as both a fabric and a material, being able to be used as clothing as well as walls or flooring. Even longswords or clubs can be made out of this material, and recieve a boost to their melee stats as such.

  • Picomachines: Picomachines are smaller than nanomachines, and thus in the lore of this game are better than nanomachines. They also can be used for all sorts of recipes, like flooring, walls, weapons or clothing. Picomachines will be used for intermediate archotech products.

  • Attomachines: These are the smallest material, and are the most expensive. It also can be used for everything. It will be used for all advanced products and most extremely late game items, when I add them.
What's next on the list?
Like the mod Glitter Tech, This mod isn't made for just bionics. Eventually I'll be adding new materials, new weapons, new enemies. Heres a basic outline of what's coming:
  • Attomachines: An infidecimately small nanomachine which builds the foundation for this mod. It can be used for clothes and weapons as well as construction, and will be used in nearly all crafting recipes for advanced archotechnologies.

  • Research and Crafting bench: This is all pretty late game stuff, and as such will be walled behind higher end research. You will need to find/buy the archotech equivalent of a multi analyzer. It will also act as a normal analyzer, and possibly also a toolbox. The crafting bench will be avaliable to build after the correlated research, it will require attomachines and archotech fragments of some kind found from quests and exotic traders.

  • Attomachine Automated Assembly Array, or the A.A.A.A for short, will generate Attomachines slowly over time when powered and fueled by steel.

  • More Artifacts: Transmuter, which would be able to change metals into other metals. Follows equivelant exchange rules. More artifacts to be thought up still!

  • Events: Fledgeling Archotech AI: A very high risk event which is equivelant to a planetkiller. You will get a message from someone who will tell you the location of a recently discovered fledgeling Archotech AI, which must be destroyed. It will be crawling with Archotech Mechanoids and defences. The reward is just as high as the risk, as you will get goodwill from nearly every faction for destroying the AI before it could transcend. You will also get whatever materials come with the event.

If there are any problems or suggestions that you would like to add, just comment below and I'll try to get around to it!

I also want to state that these new items can be bought and traded through exotic traders, or will be rewarded through quests. While I am working on a way to be able to research and craft all of this, it might take some time. The new materials added in shouldn't be gamebreaking unless you spawn them in, which I reccomend not doing. They are fun to use in small doses, and large amounts would only be rewarding if you earned them.

This is the link for the 1.0 version. It still says 0.19 for some reason but it's updated and working in 1.0.

There is still the original Archotech expanded mod file, which is updated and should still work with 1.0. I was leaving this up for people who wanted to stay with B19.

has anyone tested if this mod is safe to use in 1.0, even though it still says 0.19?

Deagroth No problem! it's already updated now, it should be 10 times as fast to make them. It still takes a long time, but now it's manageable.
