Heh, there's always different compromises that different people consider worth while. And minor flaws with simple little designs, due to their limited number of blocks or aesthetic choices... Meh.

Yes, but on a real helicopter the "lean" is produced by the variation of blade pitch at rotor height not with hovers above it. The gyro is not fighting the pitch its cancelling the leverage of the pitch being produced at too high a point, making more close to correct.

If you place gyro you have to correct flight pitch non stop. if you balance it without gyro you can pitch down and drive it with W only. That is why I prefer not to use gyro. In very rare situation i do use gyro, like when i just do not have patience to balance it perfectly and i want to fly.

Zero is correct, the center of mass is not correct in relation to the rotor as canterpoint in TT. The weight "hanging " from it should allow it to naturally straighten iits vertical axis. Since it dosen't one gyro is always needed. I have found that a second tail rotor on the opposite side of center point is necessary (pointing the opposite direction), or at certain points of lean, it will turn differently one direction than the other too.

I am trying my best without gyros, but sometimes i just replace one bloc below propellers with it just to fly more relaxed. But it is always better to make it stable without gyros and then to add it.

I prefer it with 1 gyro tucked away inside, though. Avoids getting stuck in sideways leans.
