SC-J1 Mamba

The first jet designed through spAce Combat, the SC-J1 Mamba lives up to its namesake. With its powerful engines and relatively small airframe, it is able to reach previously unparalleled speeds, allowing it to swoop in and deploy a missile, then speed away before the enemy knows what is happening. Once the missiles are exhausted, Mamba pilots will often retreat, as its single autogatling is often subpar to other planes it encounters.
